The Montclair neighborhood is a hidden gem! Most of the Montclair neighborhood has been designated historic, since its interesting development by Baron Walter Von Richthofen, the uncle of the famous Red Baron!
Montclair has a wide variety of architectural styles, from Victorian, Craftsmans, Bungalows, Tudor, TB Houses and even some mid-century Ranch homes are found here and there throughout the neighborhood. What's a TB House? A TB House style was basically a one level home with open-air side porches built specifically for folks who had Tuberculosis.
The neighborhood has 3 wonderful parks, is home to probably the most Americana 4th of July celebration in town, has large lots, grand trees, friendly and long staying neighbors and Baron Walter von Richthofen built his own (very famous now) Richthofen Castle in the neighborhood!
